COVID-19
Pandemic
Dr Cindy Govender was appointed on the Covid-19 Committee for the hospital and was elected as the representative for Busamed Gateway Private hospital on the Covid-19 Advisory board for Busamed Group in 2021.
She does not walk away from any challenges and is firmly committed and dedicated to her job. This was put to the test when the country was hit with the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020. She went from high heels and work suits to scrubs and wellingtons and fully embraced the job at hand. Her patients are a testimony of just how committed she is even during a life threatening pandemic.
